Talent & Recruitment Executive
Location: Sunderland, Tyne & Wear Salary: £32,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) + Performance Commission + Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

We’re looking for a driven, ambitious and proactive Talent & Recruitment Executive to help us build exceptional teams across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, identifying talent and making a real impact on a growing organisation.
Working closely with our Learning & Development team, Telesales Team Managers and Senior Management, you’ll play a key role in sourcing experienced professionals from across the industry while also identifying ambitious individuals with little or no experience who have the attitude and potential to succeed.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply wait for CVs to arrive—you’ll actively search for talent, build relationships and help shape the future of Utilink.
The Role
As our Talent & Recruitment Executive, you will:
- Source and identify high-quality candidates for a variety of roles across the business.
- Proactively identify and engage experienced professionals across the industry.
- Build and maintain an ongoing pipeline of talented individuals.
- Work closely with the Learning & Development team to identify candidates with long-term potential.
- Partner with Team Managers to understand current and future recruitment requirements.
- Conduct telephone interviews and first-stage screening.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Build Utilink’s employer brand through LinkedIn, Indeed and other recruitment channels.
- Attend recruitment events, careers fairs and networking opportunities where appropriate.
- Develop relationships with colleges, universities and training providers.
- Monitor recruitment performance and continuously improve hiring processes.
- Ensure every candidate receives a professional and positive recruitment experience.

Experience
Ideally you’ll have experience in one or more of the following:
- Internal recruitment
- Recruitment consultancy
- Talent acquisition
- Sales recruitment
- B2B Utilities
- Business development or telesales
Recruitment experience is desirable, but we also welcome applications from ambitious sales professionals who have the personality and drive to transition into recruitment.
