Property Maintenance Manager
Location: Greater Belfast Area & Omagh
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time / Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Property Maintenance Manager with strong practical experience in construction, building maintenance, and grounds upkeep. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and presentation of retail parks and private residential properties, primarily across the Greater Belfast area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and can effectively manage both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, and maintain roofs
- Clean, repair, and maintain guttering and drainage systems
- Carry out repairs and maintenance to concrete service yards
- Maintain and repair car parking areas and associated infrastructure
- Repair, maintain, and install fencing and gates as required
- Maintain hedges, landscaped areas, and external grounds
- Coordinate and supervise planned maintenance works and reactive repairs
- Source, procure, and manage materials, plant, and equipment
- Allocate, oversee, and monitor work carried out by direct employees and subcontractors
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Undertake any other property maintenance duties as required
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A positive, practical, and solution-focused approach
- Strong all-round construction and property maintenance knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Proven ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Experience supervising, coordinating, and delegating work to others
- A trade background or experience as a skilled construction operative
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A full UK driving licence
- A valid CSR Card (or willingness to obtain one)
