Experienced Administrator - Full time
Mint Northwest Ltd is a family run business based in Wigan which specialises in adaptation projects for local authorities across the North West Region.
This is a new and exciting position for an experienced administrator. We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and meticulous administrator to support the smooth day to day running of adaptation projects whilst co-ordinating administrative duties in a busy office environment. This is a varied role and is ideal for someone with excellent administrative, customer services and financial skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The applicant must be competent, have good IT skills, ie. Word, excel etc, an excellent telephone manner and be capable of working under pressure and unsupervised at times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage day to day enquiries and assist with co-ordinating adaptation projects.
Completing/setting up of the necessary paperwork for daily projects.
Excellent attention to details and accuracy with typing skills.
Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
Handle incoming calls with the ability to screen and transfer calls.
Proficient in computer skills to include, Microsoft office.
Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks.
Prepare sales invoices for completed projects.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Qualification and skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Organisational skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise tasks.
Typing skills with strong attention to detail.
Previous experience in a busy administrative office support role.
Good knowledge and use of IT – word processing, Excel and databases.
Excellent time management/organisational skills.
A committed and highly motivated team player.
Flexible and pro-active.

37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday – 8.00am – 4.00pm
Wage:- Meets National Minimum Wage
Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour
