Job Summary
Theatre Bistro is a new venture opening near the Liberty stadium in Swansea.
We are seeking friendly and professional waiters, baristas and bartenders to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, waiting tables and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous restaurant experience and strong organisational skills are highly valued but not necessary as full training will be provided .
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Manage cash register operations, handle payments efficiently, and issue receipts.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and prevent over-serving.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience through friendly conversation and attentive service.

Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to serve customers effectively.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and friendliness.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
