Full-Time Housekeeper – Near Burford, Oxfordshire Mead
A lovely, welcoming family with two young boys are looking for an experienced, full-time Housekeeper to support their busy household. Both parents work full-time, and they are seeking someone who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully clean, organised and welcoming home.
The family live in a lovely property on the edge of a small village, just outside Burford.
The role is primarily Monday to Friday, although they would appreciate some flexibility to house-sit and care for their friendly dog and two cats, on average one night per fortnight. There may also be occasional house-sitting during the family's holidays, which would be welcomed but is not essential.
Duties will include:
- Maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping throughout the home, including the careful care of fine art and antiques.
- Laundry, ironing and the care of fine clothing and delicate fabrics.
- Wardrobe organisation and clothing care.
- Ensuring the house is well stocked with household essentials, pantry items, pet supplies, cleaning products and other provisions, discussing larger purchases with the principals when required.
- Monitoring household supplies, including logs, oil, flowers and other items needed for the smooth running of the property.
- Running errands, grocery shopping and other household purchases.
- Occasional driving duties.
- Confidently house-sitting and caring for the family's dog and two cats when the principals are away.
- Assisting with food preparation and cooking, including helping with meal preparation when required.
- Maintaining a security-conscious approach, ensuring the property is always safe, secure and well cared for.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
