We offer bespoke packages to clients in their own homes and out support team help build our ethos by promoting client’s independence and offering them specialist, rehabilitation focused support.
We are looking to recruit passionate and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Support Workers to join Team Steps and become part of what we believe to be, something incredibly rewarding and person centred.

This role is based just outside of Wickham and surrounding areas – we have waking nights available, with opportunities to pick up additional day shifts for the right candidates.
Please also note that flexibility is required, and an element of weekend work is expected for all staff.
Our client, S, is a woman in her 30’s who lives at home with her family, including mum, dad and siblings. S loves being surrounded by bright, enthusiastic individuals who are able to enrich her life with humour and follow a specialist rehabilitation programme including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and SALT. S loves music and attending gigs and concerts, football matches, theatre trips and spending time with her family.
You will be joining a small care team within a close-knit family home where you will be taking direction from the family and Steps Ahead Management to ensure that S receives the care she needs. S requires full assistance with daily routines and the role will require a mix of monitoring and recording all observations, medication administration and supporting S’s mobility as well as being engaging and fun, and enriching S’s life with new experiences.
This job will suit someone who is adaptable and able to work in a busy family home, whilst also putting S’s needs at the centre. S would love someone who is calm yet proactive, with an excellent sense of humour and can bring enthusiasm to every aspect of the role, including specialist therapies.

Requirements for the position
· Acquired Brain Injury experience is preferred
· Six months health and social care experience is preferable; however, transferrable skills and personal experience will also be considered.
