Isle FM Ltd is a proud family-run business with a reputation for delivering high-quality Facilities Services and Commercial Property Maintenance across Hampshire, London and the South.
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our facilities team, maintaining and servicing the plant rooms and building services across our commercial office portfolio. You'll be the go-to person for keeping critical equipment running smoothly—from air handling units to heating systems—while also tackling day-to-day maintenance tasks around the buildings.
This is a practical, varied role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in well-maintained equipment, and is comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- AHU maintenance — Carry out filter changes, belt inspections, and general servicing of air handling units
- Planned preventative maintenance — Complete weekly and monthly checks on all plant equipment, including boilers, pumps, chillers, HVAC systems, and BMS controls
- Reactive maintenance — Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical and electrical systems
- General building maintenance — Handle a range of handyman tasks such as minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and fixture repairs
- Compliance and record-keeping — Maintain accurate logs of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Contractor supervision — Liaise with specialist contractors when required and ensure works are completed to standard
