Lil' Nashville is London's home of authentic Southern BBQ, live country music, whiskey, and great hospitality. We're looking for a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operation and help drive the next stage of our growth.This role would suit an experienced Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or an ambitious Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their career.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards across food quality, team performance, organisation, and compliance. You'll lead a team delivering our Southern BBQ menu, including brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and sausage, while maintaining the systems and standards needed to operate a busy, high-volume kitchen.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a senior kitchen role, or as a Sous Chef ready for progression
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organised, hands-on, and calm under pressure
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
- Commercial awareness and understanding of food cost controls
- A passion for delivering great food and developing a strong team
BBQ & Smokehouse Experience
Experience with BBQ, smokers, smokehouse concepts, or American-style cooking is highly desirable.However, we're equally interested in chefs who can demonstrate a genuine passion for Southern BBQ, smoking techniques, and low-and-slow cooking. Pay: £38,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
