Full training and support will be provided, allowing the successful candidate to develop into a skilled service engineer within the compressed air industry.
The Role
As a Trainee Service Engineer, you will experience a varied role combining working alongside experienced engineers, workshop-based activities, and attending customer sites independently as your skills and confidence develop.
You will gain hands-on experience assisting with the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of air compressors and associated equipment. Working closely with our experienced engineering team, you will develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required to progress into a fully independent service engineer role.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as travel is a key part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of air compressors and associated equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Perform compressed air energy audits.
- Conduct breathing air quality tests.
- Carry out ultrasonic leak detection surveys.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
