Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or order pads
- Serve drinks and meals promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages
- Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks and maintaining excellent time management
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables, ensuring the dining area remains clean and inviting
- Handle cash or card transactions accurately, including giving correct change and processing payments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling transactions confidently and accurately
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining quality service
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service excellence is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
