Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualifications: NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or commitment to complete within 2 years).
- Clinical Skills: Competent in manual handling (hoists), PEG medication administration, and nebuliser/suctioning.
- Availability: Flexible to participate in on-call duties and work some nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
- Clearance: Enhanced DBS check required.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health & Safety, movement/handling legislation, and the impacts of ageing and illness.
Role Overview
Join our fast-growing domiciliary care team. You will balance office-based coordination—managing rotas and care packages—with delivering hands-on, high-quality care to help service users live safely and independently at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordination & Admin: Manage and distribute staff rotas, liaise with Brokerage teams for care packages, and ensure service users are always informed of who is visiting.
- Staff Leadership: Mentor, supervise, and induct care staff. Monitor the quality of their reporting and ensure all care plans and room files are updated daily.
- Direct Care & Clinical: Deliver personal care (hygiene, dressing, feeding), assist with mobility using agreed procedures, and perform clinical tasks (PEG/nebulisers) as directed by care plans.
- Client Wellbeing: Actively monitor for signs of physical or mental deterioration. Encourage independence, assist with light domestic tasks/shopping, and foster social contact.
- Stakeholder Communication: Build strong relationships with families, Community Nurses, Social Workers, and GPs to ensure a seamless, multi-disciplinary approach to care.

Pay: £27,040.00-£28,080.00 per year
