Kitchen Porter / Fryer Assistant (Part-time)
Olé Tapas Bar – Wolverton
We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter / Fryer Assistant to join our kitchen team at Olé Tapas Bar.
This role is split between weekday evenings and weekend shifts. During weekdays, you will work mainly as a kitchen porter, supporting kitchen cleaning and basic preparation. During weekends, you will focus on fryer work and simple dessert preparation, working alongside a dedicated kitchen porter.
Key duties include:
Weekday evenings:
- Washing dishes, pots and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen and KP area clean and organised
- Preparing potatoes and basic vegetable prep
Weekends (daytime and evenings):
- Operating fryers (patatas bravas, croquetas, etc.)
- Preparing simple desserts
- Maintaining cleanliness in fryer and prep areas
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen or KP experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Comfortable working on your feet for long periods
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good attention to cleanliness and organisation
Hours:
Part-time, 25–30 hours per week
Weekday evenings and full weekend availability required
Pay:
£11.44 – £12.50 per hour plus tips, depending on experience
