We are recruiting for a range of Kitchen Assistant positions in our White Hart Kitchen!
Kitchen Assistants - Looking for a new role? Don't have much experience? We are keen to welcome those who want to learn as well as those with more experience. We also offer Apprenticeships as well in Kitchen and Hospitality.
You will be available 1-3 shifts per week across daytimes, evenings or weekends. Shift times vary.
Pay: £10.00 - £13.00 per hour (Based on Minimum wage by age group and experience)
The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant or Prep Assistant, you will support our main Chef in the Kitchen. You will be keen to learn, perhaps have some basic experience of working in a Kitchen or food environment. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting with kitchen preparation
- Supporting with Kitchen lunch and dinner services
- Preparing and learning to cook dishes to a high standard during busy services-with a more experienced Chef on duty.
- Maintaining excellent food quality, consistency and presentation
- Ensuring all hygiene, health & safety and food safety standards are met
- Assisting with prep, stock control and kitchen organisation
- Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit kitchen team
- Supporting with Kitchen cleanliness.
