Summer Sales Assistant (Part-Time, Temporary) | July – Early September
We're hiring at Y2K Vintage!
We're looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Part-Time Sales Assistants to join our Notting Hill team over the summer. This is a temporary role running from July through to early September, making it ideal for students, recent graduates, or anyone looking to pick up work over the summer months.

You will be responsible for:
Customer Experience
Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and engaging in-store experience for every customer. Build genuine relationships with shoppers, offer styling advice, and confidently assist customers in finding pieces they'll love.
Sales Performance
Support the team in achieving daily and weekly sales targets through excellent customer engagement, product knowledge, and proactive selling. Help create an energetic shop floor atmosphere that encourages sales and repeat visits.
Visual Merchandising
Maintain the presentation of the store by replenishing stock, keeping displays visually appealing, and ensuring the shop floor reflects the Y2K Vintage brand. Support visual merchandising updates based on stock levels and current trends.
Stock & Inventory
Assist with processing deliveries, replenishing the shop floor, organising stock, and maintaining a clean and organised back-of-house area.
Brand & Community
Represent Y2K Vintage with enthusiasm and authenticity. Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that reflects our brand and builds strong relationships with our customers.
Store Operations
Support the day-to-day running of the store by assisting with opening and closing procedures, operating the till accurately, maintaining store standards, and ensuring the shop floor remains clean, organised and well-presented throughout the day.
Teamwork
Work collaboratively with the wider store team, supporting colleagues where needed and contributing towards shared store goals.
About You
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, although full training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for vintage fashion and an interest in 90s and 2000s trends.
- Confident communicating with customers and delivering excellent customer service.
- Positive, reliable and proactive with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
- Flexible to work weekdays and weekends throughout the summer.
