We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bar Supervisor/Duty Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bar operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure smooth service flow.
- Lead and motivate a team of bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences.
- Manage inventory levels for beverages, ingredients, and supplies; coordinate ordering and stock rotation.
- Enforce food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in line with health regulations across all areas of the bar.
- Oversee training programs for new staff on food production, cocktail mixing, customer service, and safety procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and create a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus that highlight culinary creativity while ensuring operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in bar or kitchen environments.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and foster a positive work culture.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols.
- Experience in food production, culinary arts, or hotel operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with serving practices, hospitality standards, and beverage service including barista experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and storage.
