Working Hours
Our services operate Monday to Saturday, with every Sunday off and a day off during the week.
Typical shifts are designed to provide a healthy work-life balance, with no late-night working and consistent weekly schedules.
For part-time drivers, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your lifestyle. Whether you're looking for a couple of days each week or just a few hours each day to cover driver breaks, we'll work with you to find a schedule that fits.
Duties
- Safely operate the bus along scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and any incidents during shifts
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with passengers and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 protocols where applicable
Requirements
- Valid UK PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver, preferably with passenger transport experience
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Demonstrable driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service
- Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks and understand technical information
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during shifts
- Previous experience as a driver is advantageous but not essential
- Must be physically fit to assist passengers if necessary and perform safety checks

Pay: £14.50-£15.00 per hour
