Here at Westexe group Ltd, we are looking for an ambitious and number driven individual, who can assist the Accounts Manager with the everyday running of the accounts department. Our accounts team currently are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- Sage 50 Accounts knowledge or equivalent
- Purchase Ledger, Nominal Ledger and Sales Ledger experience
- Office 365 knowledge and generally IT proficient
- Able to prioritise effectively and have solid communication skills
- An analytical and agile mindset, able to work both in a large team or small as well as alone.
- Excellent Administrative Skills
In the role as Finance Support Team Leader, you will be expected to liaise with all members of all departments within the business to ensure the continued smooth running of the accounts department as well as act as cover for any member of the accounting team. The purpose of this role will be to take leadership and provide daily support to a well-established Accounts Team.
Responsibilities will include:
· Managing and Supporting the Daily Sales Ledger Process
· Managing and Supporting the Daily Purchase Ledger Process
· Managing and Supporting the daily Nominal Ledger Process
· Providing Monthly Management Accounts
· VAT Compliance – Quarterly and Yearly Returns
· Finalising Year End Accounts
· Understanding and adhering to the financial regulations and legislations.
· Managing & Balancing of Bespoke Excel Monthly summaries outside of Sage for Accruals, Prepayments, HP, Contract Maintenance & Fixed assets
· Setting up new Fixed Assets
· Setting up new HP Agreements
As part of our ever-growing business, we are looking for someone who can grow with us, as well as helping and encouraging us to grow further.
Working hours will be Monday – Friday 8:00 – 16:30 with 30 mins for lunch
Holiday allowance will be 25 days per annum plus bank holidays – this increases 1 day for every 5 years service completed
