We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Exhibition Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Requirements
The Venue Manager must be able to:
- Act as a duty manager for the building
- Deliver HR practice consistently and fairly as part of the team
- Promote and maintain the highest standard of customer service
- Publicly represent Exhibition Hub and the venue in a prepared and professional manner
- Be able to demonstrate practical use of excel and word
- Be confident and competent in the use of basic technology with an ability to troubleshoot on the spot
- Work unsocial hours as required (Schedules rotate 8;00am - 11:00pm Monday to Sunday)
- Maintain confidentiality
- Be able to support and develop the on site team
- Oversee and maintain tech and merchandise inventory and management
- Undertake any other duties which may be reasonably requested to ensure the smooth running of the venue and partner sites
- Be comfortable with assessing risk and able to manage building safety accordingly
- Be comfortable managing a budget and taking financial responsibility of the business
- Demonstrate a hands on lead by example approach to every working day
- Manage effectively in line with other venue managers so that all areas are managed and maintained smoothly
- Lead the team in emergency situations in accordance with procedure
- Be able to demonstrate safe first aid practices
- Maintain and proactively manage Business Continuity
This is a location based role and unless pre-approved home working is not available in this position.
Enhanced DBS check required.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
