Located on Ann Street and open daily for lunch and dinner, Ru will be the first to open amongst a number of adjoining venues, including a pub, cocktail bar and terrace, vinyl listening bar and club space in 2026.
The role
As Front of House, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding dining experience, providing warm, attentive service and working closely with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The rate of pay for this role is £12.71 per hour.

What you’ll do:
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable and attentive service to all guests
- Take orders accurately and confidently, offering menu recommendations and sharing your knowledge of food and drinks
- Prepare drinks to a high standard as required
- Ensure tables are presented to a high standard and maintain cleanliness throughout service
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service flow
- Handle guest queries and feedback professionally, ensuring a positive experience at all times
- Support the wider team with opening and closing duties
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar front-of-house role/ bar-restaurant environment (minimum 6 months)
- Cocktail experience is a bonus
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
