UCL is a world-leading university with a large and complex Estate spanning more than 270 buildings. Our Logistics team provides essential goods and mail receiving, storage and distribution services across UCL, while also supporting vehicle management, campus space requirements and central stores operations.
As Logistics Manager, you will lead the delivery and development of logistics, storage and goods-in services across UCL. You will manage central and off-site storage facilities, support new projects and services, develop space and storage strategies, work with Procurement and Sustainability, and oversee efficient inventory, distribution and tracking operations. You will also provide line management, supervision, training and support to Logistics Supervisors and Stores Technicians.
This role is eligible only for UCL internal candidates.
We are looking for an experienced logistics professional with practical experience of managing goods-in, storage and distribution services, alongside strong planning, organisational and IT skills. You will be a confident communicator and natural collaborator, able to manage changing priorities, develop effective operational solutions and work with colleagues and stakeholders across UCL and externally.
