We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team. An individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. A professional who adheres to GPHC guidelines is vital. You will need to be qualified with an UK level 2/3 in pharmacy dispensing qualification and have at least 2 years team leader experience within in community pharmacy setting.
This pharmacy is a busy community pharmacy based in Kirby Muxloe.
Previous experience is essential.
Hours are:
Full time 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am to 1pm
Key responsibilities will include:
· Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, supervise, and motivate team
· Allocate workloads
· Support recruitment, induction, and training of new team members.
· Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive working environment.
· Ensure patients receive safe, accurate, and timely dispensing services.
· Promote high standards of patient customer service.
· Resolve patient concerns and complaints professionally.
· Oversee daily pharmacy workflow and prioritise tasks.
· Manage stock levels and reduce medicine wastage.
· Coordinate with suppliers to maintain medicine availability.
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience.
· In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, act as the main point of contact for the pharmacy team.
· Liaise with GPs, hospitals, care homes, and other healthcare professionals.
· Help achieve service and business targets.
· Promote pharmacy services and encourage patient engagement.
