Job Title: Care Assistant
Located in a quiet part of Wellington at the foot of the Blackdown hills, our beautiful 87-bed residential care home provides support to people in the aging years of life. We are looking for someone of a kind nature suited to the care of others and who will be a good fit for our team.
Duties:
- Provide personal care and support to individual with compassion and dignity
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with meals and provide nutritional support
- Accompany individuals to appointments or outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Document and report any changes in the individual's condition
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
