Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and surfaces are sanitized and organized according to health and safety standards
- Support the setup and breakdown of food stations during service periods
- Help with stock rotation, storage, and inventory management to keep supplies well-organized
- Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is highly desirable but not essential; enthusiasm is key!
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
