The MRO Site Coordinator will take ownership of engineering stores and MRO support across two customer locations.
The role is based primarily at a customer site in Skipton, with one day per week at a second site in Keighley.
This is more than a traditional stores position. Alongside stock control, replenishment and engineering parts support, the successful candidate will act as a key onsite representative, working directly with engineers, maintenance teams and customer stakeholders to ensure an effective, responsive and well-managed service.
The role would suit someone with experience in engineering stores, MRO, industrial supplies or managed inventory who is comfortable working independently in a customer environment.
Take day-to-day ownership of the onsite engineering / MRO stores operation
Maintain accurate stock levels, locations and inventory records
Receive, check and put away incoming stock
Pick and issue engineering parts, consumables and spares
Carry out stock checks, cycle counts and stock rotation
Monitor stock levels and support replenishment activity
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
Ensure engineers and maintenance teams have the parts and consumables required to support operations
Liaise directly with customer engineering, maintenance and operational personnel
Act as a professional onsite representative of the service provider
Build strong working relationships with customer contacts
Respond to stock, parts and service queries
Identify recurring supply issues and opportunities to improve the stores operation
Support improvements in stock availability, organisation and service levels
Assist with sourcing or escalating non-standard customer requirements where appropriate
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Ensure the stores area remains organised, safe and efficient
Work across both Skipton and Keighley sites as required
The successful candidate is likely to have experience within one or more of the following:

Managed inventory
Vendor Managed Inventory / VMI
Industrial vending
Technical stores
Customer-site engineering support
Strong stock control and inventory management experience
Experience working with engineering parts, spares, consumables or MRO products
Comfortable dealing directly with engineers, maintenance personnel and customer stakeholders
Able to work independently and take ownership of an onsite operation
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
Good problem-solving ability
Full UK driving licence
Ability to travel between Skipton and Keighley
Previous experience working for an MRO, industrial supply or engineering distribution business
Experience working onsite within a customer's manufacturing or engineering facility
Managed inventory / VMI experience
Industrial vending or automated replenishment systems
Experience with engineering stores systems, ERP or inventory software
Experience identifying service improvements or additional customer requirements
Reliable and self-motivated
Comfortable working with minimal supervision
Customer-focused
Practical and organised
Commercially aware without needing to be a salesperson
Confident building relationships at site level
Able to balance hands-on stores activity with customer communication
Proactive in identifying and resolving problems
To ensure the customer has an accurate, responsive and professionally managed engineering / MRO stores service, with the right parts available when required and a strong day-to-day relationship between the customer and service provider.
