Visiting Angels South East London, part of the Tan Meridian Group, is a values-led home care provider rated 9.9/10 by the people we look after. We're growing, and we're looking for a Care Coordinator to help us keep that care brilliant.
Are you an experienced carer or senior carer who's ready to step off the rota and into coordinating? This is the role where you stop being one more pair of hands and start shaping how the care runs.
Working alongside our Registered Care Manager, you'll be at the heart of the day-to-day: matching the right carer to the right client, keeping rotas tight, staying on top of care plans, and being the calm, capable voice families reach for when they need reassurance. It's a real step up, with a clear path to grow further into management.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinating carer rotas and matching carers to clients so people get consistency, not a rotating cast of strangers
- Writing, reviewing and keeping care plans accurate and genuinely person-centred
- Being a first point of contact for clients, families and carers, and sorting things before they become problems
- Supporting the recruitment, induction and supervision of our care team
- Helping keep us inspection-ready and CQC-compliant
- Occasional out-of-hours support as part of the team (not a heavy on-call rota)
What we're looking for:
Essential
- Solid experience in UK home care or social care, including hands-on care delivery
- Confident with care planning, rostering and juggling a busy day without dropping the ball
- Genuinely good with people, warm with clients and families, steady with a team
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
- The right to work in the UK (we're not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role)
Desirable
- NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or working towards it
- Familiarity with digital care systems (we use Birdie)
- Experience supervising or mentoring other carers
What you get:
- £28,000 to £32,000 a year, depending on experience, full-time
- Office-based in South East London, with visits out to clients and carers
- A supportive manager above you and real ownership of your work
- A genuine career path into management with a growing, well-rated provider, currently a team of around 30 carers
- The chance to build something, not just maintain it
Sound like you? Apply with your CV and a short note on why you're ready to step up. We'd love to hear from you.
