Alchemy Arts is seeking an experienced Freelance Creative Project Manager & Community Facilitator to lead and deliver creative community programmes across Greater Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about community engagement, the arts and creating positive social impact. You'll work closely with local communities, artists, schools, mosques, charities and partner organisations to develop and deliver inspiring creative projects that empower people through theatre, storytelling, arts and cultural activities.
This is a hands-on role that combines project management, community outreach, partnership development and workshop facilitation. You'll be responsible for coordinating projects from planning through to delivery, building relationships with local stakeholders, recruiting participants, organising events and facilitating engaging workshops.
We're looking for someone who thrives in community settings, enjoys bringing people together and can confidently manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent relationships with partners and participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and manage creative community projects from start to finish.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community organisations, schools, mosques and local partners.
- Recruit participants and promote programmes through community outreach.
- Deliver engaging workshops, creative activities and community events.
- Coordinate venues, artists, facilitators and project logistics.
- Monitor project progress, attendance and outcomes.
- Collect participant feedback and support project evaluation.
- Represent Alchemy Arts professionally within the community.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Alchemy Arts team to ensure successful project delivery.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in community arts, theatre, youth work, community engagement, project management or cultural programmes, particularly those who enjoy working with diverse communities and creating opportunities through creativity.
