Pay negotiable depending on experience.
Work van will be provided with a fuel card for successful applicants.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Plant Repair Department. You will be required to carry out maintenance, fault-finding and repairs to a wide range of construction plant and recycling equipment throughout London and home counties.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate & inspect plant or equipment in order to diagnose defects.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment. (Training Provided)
- Repair & replace damaged or worn parts
- Test plant or equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance.
- Service machinery
To be successful within this role you must have:
- Ideally qualification as plant mechanic/fitter or similar experience considered.
- Proven experience working with a range of plant equipment, machines and hydraulic equipment.
- Confident in the diagnosis of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Good time management, organisation skills and be able to work to deadlines
- Computerised job sheet/timesheet system
- Ability to prioritise own workload and manage expectations
- Ability to weld would be an advantage
- Attention to detail
- Proactive approach
- Full UK licence required for the field service engineer
- CSCS card an advantage(Can apply once employed)
