We are looking for an experienced Industrial Services Operative / Drainage Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys varied work, takes pride in high standards, and is committed to working safely.
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of industrial and environmental services, working across commercial, industrial, utility and infrastructure sites throughout the UK.
Essential Requirements
- HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Jet Vac / Combination Unit operating experience
- Proven drainage engineering experience
- Experience in high-pressure water jetting
- Good understanding of confined space working
- CSCS Card (preferred)
- Ability to work away from home when required
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong commitment to health and safety
Desirable Qualifications
- Confined Space (Medium or High Risk)
- High Pressure Water Jetting Association (WJA) Certificate
- EUSR Water Hygiene
- First Aid at Work
- Safety Passport
- SHEA Water
- Banksman/Slinger
- Rescue Training
Main Duties
- Operating Jet Vac and Combination Units
- Drain and sewer cleaning
- CCTV drainage surveys
- Tank, interceptor and wet well cleaning
- Industrial cleaning operations
- High-pressure water jetting
- Confined space entry and rescue support
- Waste collection and transportation
- Planned maintenance and emergency call-outs
- Completing job sheets, risk assessments and vehicle checks
- Maintaining equipment to the highest standard
- Delivering excellent customer service on every job
