Room Quality Lead (Room Leader)
Earn £29,146 to £31,616 per year while working just four days a week!
Permanent | 38 hours across four days | Same day off every week
Less than five minutes' walk from Brentwood Station
Ready to lead a room and make a real difference?
At Leaping Lilies Day Nursery, we're looking for an experienced and ambitious Room Quality Lead to join our team.
This is our Room Leader position, but we call it Room Quality Lead because we believe the role should be about more than managing the day to day running of a room.
It's about quality.
The quality of children's experiences. The quality of education and interactions. The quality of the environment. And the quality of practice within your team.
We're looking for someone who can bring experience, ideas and high standards to Leaping Lilies and help us continue improving the quality of what we provide for our children and families.
Four days at work. Three days away from work. Every week.
Taking the next step in your early years career shouldn't mean giving up your work life balance.
Our full time Room Quality Leads work 38 hours across four days, with the same day off every week.
That means a predictable working pattern, a consistent day off and three days away from work each week.
Lead a team. Drive quality.
As a Room Quality Lead, you'll take ownership of the quality and day to day experience within your room.
You'll remain actively involved with the children and educators while also helping ensure that high standards are consistently maintained.
You'll know your children.
You'll know your team.
You'll understand what is working well and have the confidence to recognise where something could be even better.
We want someone who leads by example, rather than simply through their job title.
Someone who takes pride in their room and understands that great leadership can have a direct impact on the experiences children receive every day.
Help great educators become even better
At Leaping Lilies, you'll be working with a team that includes both established educators and newer members of staff.
One of the most important parts of your role will be bringing people together and helping create a consistent, positive approach within your room.
You'll support educators with their practice, share your knowledge, provide guidance and help establish clear expectations.
We want our Room Quality Leads to recognise people's strengths while also having the confidence to support improvement where it's needed.
The aim is simple: a strong team providing consistently high quality experiences for children.
Help us keep raising standards
We're looking for people who want to contribute.
We want our Room Quality Leads to look at their environments, routines and practice and continually ask how they can make the experience even better for children.
You'll work closely with the nursery leadership team to help drive standards and improve the quality and consistency of our provision.
Your ideas matter.
Your experience matters.
And the standards you set within your room matter.
Build your leadership career with us
Room Quality Lead should be an opportunity to develop your leadership skills, not simply a change in job title.
You'll be supported through ongoing CPD and professional development, with opportunities to grow your knowledge, confidence and leadership capability.
For someone with the right attitude and ambition, this role can also provide a pathway towards future nursery leadership opportunities within our wider group.
