Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness in our customers premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within allocated timeframes
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shifts
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
This position is suitable for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean environments and possess the necessary skills to perform their duties efficiently. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning will be considered an advantage.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
