Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of coding (languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, or Java)
- A genuine passion for technology and software development
- Familiarity with software development concepts, including programming logic, algorithms, and data structures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and able to work with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- A lot of personality!
- GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English preferred (If not obtained, must be willing to complete functional skills)
Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist in writing clean, efficient code using a variety of programming languages (depending on the project)
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement software features
- Help maintain, test, and debug code to ensure high-quality performance
- Assist in building and managing databases to store data securely and efficiently
- Participate in daily stand-ups, project meetings, and code reviews
- Work with teams to understand and meet client and project requirements
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and frameworks through continuous learning
- Support the team in documenting code and creating user guides for applications
