Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the guest house. Prior experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bedrooms and communal spaces in accordance with health and safety standards
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored appropriately
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure all areas are fully equipped at all times
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all cleaning activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks effectively
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
