Client Portfolio Manager (North-East, Field Based)
Location: North-East, monthly attendance at Wirral Head Office (bi-weekly during probation – 6 months)
Reporting to: Senior Management Team

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Client Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. This role is primarily field based and focused on maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
The successful candidate will spend much of their week visiting clients at their premises, helping them understand their accounts, financial position and performance.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked within an accountancy practice for several years and is confident speaking to business owners and explaining accounts, but who does not necessarily want to spend their time preparing accounts in the office.

Key Responsibilities
· Visiting clients regularly at their premises
· Acting as the main relationship contact for a portfolio of SME clients
· Liaising with the internal accounts team to ensure work is delivered accurately and on time
· Supporting clients with cloud accounting software such as Xero
· Identifying opportunities where additional services may benefit the client
· Providing feedback from clients to the wider management team
Experience Required
· AAT level 4 or qualified by experience (5 years)
· Working within an accountancy practice, or can demonstrate knowledge of P&L’s across multiple businesses
· Strong understanding of:
· Limited company accounts
· Sole trader accounts
· Partnerships
· VAT basics
· Management accounts
· Confident speaking with business owners and explaining financial information
· Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero would be beneficial

Salary Guide
£35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
