We’re working with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Guildford that is looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join its growing team.
This isn't a narrowly defined role. You'll gain exposure across different areas of practice, making it particularly well suited to someone who enjoys variety and wants to continue developing into a well-rounded accountant.
The Role
Your responsibilities will be tailored somewhat around your experience, but are likely to include:
- Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
- Preparing corporation tax returns and assisting with wider tax work
- Working on external audits from planning and fieldwork through to completion
- Preparing management accounts and other financial information
- Building strong relationships with clients and dealing with day-to-day queries
- Reviewing work and supporting more junior members of the team
- Gradually taking on greater portfolio management and advisory responsibilities
About You
You'll need previous experience within a UK accountancy practice, ideally with exposure to both accounts and external audit.
ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified candidates can be considered, as can those with strong experience gained through practice.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
