Think Employment is recruiting a Demolition and Plant Assessor to support learners across London as they work towards recognised qualifications in demolition and plant operations. You will assess learners in their own workplaces, see their skills in action, and deliver theory and safety sessions remotely by Zoom. This role is ideal for an experienced demolition or plant operations professional who wants to pass their knowledge on and help others build their careers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess learners at their own workplaces, confirming their skills meet the standard so they earn a qualification employers recognise.
- Deliver remote Zoom sessions covering theory and safety, so learners can complete their qualification without stepping away from work.
- Plan each learner’s journey and keep clear records, so progress stays on track and nothing is missed.
- Uphold health, safety, and safeguarding standards, so every learner feels safe and supported throughout their qualification.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive experience in the demolition and plant operations sector, with a Level 2 qualification in the field.
- A recognised assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, or A1), or a willingness to work towards it.
- English and Maths at Level 2 (assessment can be completed before the interview).
- A full driving licence, as the role involves regular travel to assessing sites across London.
