Potato Process Operative
Scutt Farming are looking for potato graders to join our enterprise in Eastrington producing high quality potatoes for wholesale and local delivery to fish and chip shops. You will be a part of a small, family run business with more than 150 years of farming experience and working with up-to-date, well maintained machinery and equipment.
What you'll be doing
· Working on the potato production line grading potatoes to meet customer expectations
· Working towards standards for Red Tractor as instructed by the Grading Manager and office staff
What we are looking for
· A high level of attention to detail
· The ability to work on repetitive tasks
· The ability to work at the pace of our production lines
· A positive work ethic
· To take instruction from senior farm staff, particularly the Grading Manager
· Awareness of Health and Safety and the competence to work safely
