Family Law Solicitor (Minimum 3–5 Years' PQE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our well-respected Family Law team.
Working alongside an established and supportive team, the successful candidate will manage their own varied caseload independently with minimal supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated solicitor looking to further their career within a friendly, professional and positive working environment.
The caseload will include a broad range of family law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Domestic abuse matters
- Separation agreements
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking client instructions and providing clear, practical legal advice, including likely timescales and costs.
- Managing a varied caseload independently from instruction through to conclusion.
- Preparing court documents, correspondence, witness statements, consent orders and other legal documentation.
- Conducting negotiations on behalf of clients and liaising with the courts, counsel, experts and other professionals where appropriate.
- Representing clients at hearings where appropriate or instructing counsel.
- Progressing matters efficiently, prioritising workloads effectively and keeping clients fully informed throughout.
The successful candidate will have:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3–5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
- Experience managing a broad range of privately funded family matters.
- The ability to manage a full caseload independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, organisational and client care skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of an established team.
- Accreditation with Resolution or additional Resolution qualifications would be desirable.
