Remedy Education are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school based in East London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background or strong interest in Art who wants to support pupils within a school setting. The school are looking for someone patient, reliable and hands-on who can help students engage in creative lessons, build confidence and develop their artistic skills.

Position: Art Teaching Assistant
Location: East London
Pay: £100-£117 per day
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP / September roles available

The Role:
As an Art Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils during Art lessons and creative activities
- Assist the class teacher with resources, displays and lesson preparation
- Work 1:1 and with small groups to encourage engagement and confidence
- Help pupils develop creative skills across drawing, painting, design and practical work
- Support students with additional needs where required
- Encourage positive behaviour and participation in lessons
- Help maintain a safe, organised and creative classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A background or strong interest in Art, Design or Creative Arts
- Experience working with children or young people
- A patient, creative and positive approach
- Confidence supporting pupils of different abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- School, youth work, childcare or tutoring experience is desirable
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
