About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, Professional and customer- focused self employed taxi driver to join our team on a regular contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driver looking for guaranteed contract work and regluar hours, with the flexabilty of choosing between friday to monday working pattern or saturday and sunday.
Isn't essential to already have a taxi a taxi licence, We can help you obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations efficiently and comfortably
- Maintain a clean, well-functioning vehicle through regular inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate clearly with passengers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Handle all aspects of trip planning, including navigation, route optimization, and adherence to traffic laws
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or heavy items as needed, demonstrating physical capability for heavy lifting
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and earnings for self-management and reporting purposes
- Follow all safety protocols and legal requirements related to commercial driving and passenger transportation
Experience
- Proven experience as a driver with a valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving or taxi operations
- Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability in time management and route planning
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse passengers and coordinate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of local traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices in passenger transportation
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and handle minor repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Experience with heavy lifting or handling bulky items is a plus, especially for assisting passengers with luggage
- Demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices and customer satisfaction
