Sourced Living - Live Better - Letting and Estate Agent
You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties, providing an excellent service to landlords and tenants while ensuring our properties remain safe, compliant and well managed.
Just as importantly, you'll help us continuously improve the way we work. You'll be trusted to take ownership of problems, make decisions, build strong relationships and identify opportunities to improve both our service and the performance of the portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Managing a portfolio of residential properties from tenancy commencement through to move-out
· Building strong, long-term relationships with landlords and tenants
· Coordinating maintenance and repairs, working closely with trusted contractors
· Managing property inspections and ensuring actions are followed through
· Monitoring and managing rent arrears
· Managing tenancy renewals, rent reviews and tenancy changes
· Ensuring properties and tenancies remain compliant with current legislation
· Managing deposit matters and end-of-tenancy processes
· Resolving landlord and tenant queries professionally and efficiently
· Maintaining accurate records within our property management systems
· Identifying opportunities to improve landlord retention, service levels and portfolio performance
· Working collaboratively with the wider lettings and sales team
· Helping us develop and improve processes as the business grows
You'll already have experience within residential lettings or property management and understand what excellent property management looks like.
We're particularly interested in your attitude.
You'll be someone who:
- Takes ownership rather than waiting to be asked
- Is highly organised and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Communicates confidently with landlords, tenants and contractors
- Remains calm and solutions-focused when problems arise
- Understands the importance of compliance and attention to detail
- Is commercially aware and understands that great property management also means protecting landlord relationships and income
- Enjoys being part of a team but is confident working independently
- Looks for ways to make things better rather than accepting "that's how we've always done it"
- Wants to contribute ideas and have a genuine impact on the business
Previous experience using property management CRM systems would be advantageous, as would relevant industry qualifications.
A full UK driving licence is required.
