We're looking for an Operations Manager to lead our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys balancing people, processes, customer service, and daily operations. If you're a natural organiser who thrives on making things run smoothly and bringing out the best in others, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the day-to-day operations of our Luton branch
- Managing and supporting drivers, warehouse staff, and operational teams
- Ensuring exceptional customer service at every stage of the customer journey
- Planning and coordinating deliveries, collections, and warehouse activity
- Monitoring productivity, efficiency, and service standards
- Recruiting, training, and developing team members
- Managing health and safety procedures and ensuring compliance
- Resolving operational challenges quickly and effectively
- Building a positive, motivated, and high-performing team culture
- Working closely with senior management to support business growth
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an operations, logistics, removals, storage, or warehouse management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- A calm, practical approach to problem-solving
- Great communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- The ability to lead by example and support your team when needed
- A full UK driving licence
