Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast items with precision and flair, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to create appealing and innovative breakfast options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Manage meal preparation times effectively to ensure prompt service during busy hours
- Support the team in serving guests by ensuring timely delivery of hot, fresh dishes
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and food storage practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, especially related to breakfast foods such as eggs, pancakes, pastries, and breakfast meats
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen setting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
- Previous restaurant experience of 4+years is essential
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support breakfast service
- A positive attitude with a passion for creating delicious meals that enhance guest experiences
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
