GPH Builders Merchants Ltd is the largest independent supplier of building materials in the North of Scotland and has established an enviable reputation for supplying excellent quality products and a professional service.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Yard Sales Assistant to join the team in our busy branch in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, this includes;
- · Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- · Serving and checking customer collections
- · Picking and preparing orders
- · Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- · Complying with health and safety policy and procedures at all times
- · Answering queries from trade customers or members of the public
Entry requirements
Successful candidates for our Yard Operative opportunity should have:
- A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.
- A certificate of training with any one of the following, Side loader / Forklift / Combi-Lift. Consideration will be given to candidates without training and can demonstrate their experiences with lifting equipment.
- Experience of working within a Builders or Timber Merchants would be useful but not critical.
- A background in warehouse and customer service experience.
- Evidence of right to work in the UK.
Working Week: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm, Saturday (rota) 7am - 12:30pm.
