RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic SME in Wilmslow who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their small finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely business who rarely recruit. You will work closely with and report into the Finance Manager and join a stable and friendly team.

Role Responsibilities
- Purchase ledger, process supplier invoices and payment and ensure accurate records

Sales ledger, manage customer invoicing, payments and account reconciliations

Credit control, chasing outstanding payments, build and maintain customer relationships

Daily bank reconciliations

Analysis and process credit cards and petty cash

Manage and ensure all staff expense claims are correct and paid on time

To support the Finance Manager with any adhoc or accounts admin as required
Person Specification
- At least 5+ years' experience working within an all-around accounts role

AAT level 3 or 4 would be desirable and study support can be considered to complete AAT

Strong IT and systems experience, experience with accounting software and MS Excel
