Teaching Assistant
Steeple Bumpstead Primary School
Contract: Temporary, 29.35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
Salary: NJC Scale 2, SP 2-4 (FTE: £24,414 - £25,185/ Actual: £16,193 - £16,704 per annum)

Steeple Bumpstead Primary School is a friendly one-form entry primary school located close to Haverhill and part of the Unity Schools Partnership.
We are seeking an excellent teaching assistant to join our team as maternity cover.
The post will be a mixture of general classroom support and support for individual children.
The post will be working every day from 8.20am – 3.15pm. It will include half an hour of lunch duty.
We are looking for someone who:
- is calm, positive and patient
- will support our trauma informed schools approach
- is passionate about supporting every child to achieve
- has the interpersonal skills to develop positive and supportive relationships with children, colleagues and parents
- is able to use their own initiative and can 'think on their feet'
- is efficient and organised
- has experience working with children with special educational needs
