Job Description:
Britannia Reeves is a family-run business with over 125 years of experience. We specialise in domestic removals, commercial contracts, and international moves.
We are currently seeking LGV Drivers to join and strengthen our established team.
Previous removals experience is preferred but not essential. However, successful candidates must demonstrate a polite, professional attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good spoken English is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for moving household and office furniture and other items to customers' new premises or into storage. You will also assist with packing, unpacking, and export wrapping services.
A typical working day is approximately 9 hours, with variable start and finish times.
Requirements
- Saturday overtime available and paid at an enhanced rate
- Minimum Class 2 licence
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Willingness to work away from home (overnight allowance provided)
- Physically fit, as the role involves heavy lifting
