Assistant Girls’ Football Coach (Under-12s)
About the role
Cheetham Hope FC is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Girls’ Football Coach to support our growing Under-12 Girls’ team. This is a paid, part-time weekend role, ideal for someone looking to gain coaching experience in a fun, positive and supportive grassroots football environment.
You will work alongside our lead coach to help deliver engaging training sessions, support players during matches, and contribute to the development of every child.
This role would suit a college or university student, an aspiring football coach, or anyone with a passion for football and working with young people.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and delivering enjoyable football training sessions.
- Support players during training sessions and match days.
- Encourage confidence, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and positive environment for all players.
- Set up and pack away training equipment.
- Communicate professionally with coaches, players and parents when required.
- Be a positive role model both on and off the pitch.
Skills & Experience
- Passion for football and developing young players.
- Confident, enthusiastic and approachable.
- Reliable, punctual and organised.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Playing or coaching experience is desirable but not essential.
- FA Level 1 (Introduction to Coaching Football) qualification is preferred but not essential.
- An Enhanced DBS check and FA Safeguarding qualification are preferred. If you do not already have these, Cheetham Hope FC will support the successful candidate in obtaining them.
