Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Evening Cleaner to join our team and play an important role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment. This position is ideally suited to someone looking for consistent part-time evening work, with a set schedule of Monday to Friday, 1 hour per evening. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the premises, ensuring all areas are presented to a professional standard. Duties
- Carry out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins across designated areas
- Thoroughly clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and communal areas to a consistently high standard
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, fixtures, equipment, and high-touch areas in accordance with appropriate hygiene standards
- Safely and effectively use cleaning equipment, materials, and products
- Monitor and replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when required
- Follow established cleaning procedures, schedules, and health and safety requirements at all times
- Identify and promptly report any maintenance issues, damage, or potential health and safety hazards to management
- Ensure all allocated cleaning duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard within the 1-hour evening shift
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial, office, healthcare, or professional cleaning is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning methods, products, and hygiene standards is advantageous
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete all allocated duties within the required timeframe
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining consistently high standards
- Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and professional in approach
- Good understanding of the importance of confidentiality, cleanliness, and maintaining a professional environment
