Who we are
At Via, our mission is to provide the best health and wellbeing support to as many people as possible, helping them to change their lives for the better.
Last year, we supported over 11,000 people across the UK affected by alcohol and drug use. Everything we do is driven by our values:
- Care. Care for people is at the heart of everything we do.
- Be human. We are accessible, genuine and humble. Always learning.
- Do the right thing. We’re open, honest and inclusive. We get things done.
We want to recruit the very best talent. We believe in nurturing a positive workplace culture where our colleagues feel valued, recognised, empowered, and supported.
What we're looking for
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation
Do you believe everyone deserves the opportunity to recover, no matter their background or circumstances?
Are you passionate about working alongside diverse communities, building trust, and breaking down barriers to support?
We're looking for a compassionate, motivated, and culturally aware Outreach Practitioner to join our dedicated Outreach Team in Brent.
This is more than an outreach role—it's an opportunity to engage with people who may never walk through our doors without someone first reaching out. You'll work across one of London's most diverse boroughs, supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol use, homelessness, social exclusion, and health inequalities.
Every day is different. One moment you could be engaging someone on the streets, the next you're working alongside community leaders, faith organisations, health services, housing providers, or local partners to improve access to treatment and recovery.
Working within the Outreach Team, you will build positive relationships with local communities, partner agencies, and community organisations to identify unmet need, increase awareness of available support, and encourage engagement with treatment and recovery services.
We're looking for someone who:
Understands the challenges faced by people experiencing substance use, homelessness, social exclusion, and health inequalities.
This is not just a job – you’ll help people rebuild their lives, reconnect with their family and friends, return to work or education, and much more.
We’re looking for individuals with compassion, good communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
If you’re someone who is a good listener, stays curious, and wants to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Deadline: 5 August 2026
Salary: £29,998.00 - £33,935.00 per annum, including London Weighting where appropriate
