Paving Traders, is a leading supplier of high quality paving stone and porcelain and we are looking for a reliable Yard Assistant to join our team at Paving Traders. The role involves working outdoors, handling paving and stone materials, and operating a forklift to manage deliveries and stock.
What You will Do:
- Load, unload, and organise crates of stone and paving materials
- Operate a telehandler (licence required)
- Assist customers and delivery drivers
- Keep the yard tidy, safe, and well-organised
- Support general yard and maintenance tasks
What We are Looking For:
- Forklift licence and experience (essential)
- Able to safely lift and move heavy materials as part of the role
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable, team oriented, and proactive
- Experience in a builders merchant or warehouse environment is a plus
